Sega Genesis Classic Console

AtGames-Sega-Genesis-Classic-Game-ConsoleI’m showing my age a bit in saying this but, my first video game was Barney’s Hide and Seek followed shortly afterwards by the original Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis. I tell you this because I got this thing for Christmas that has 80 classic Sega Genesis games loaded onto it as well as a port on top to put cartridges in.

It has games like Altered Beast, Sonic the Hedgehog, the terrifying to this day classic, Ecco, and many, many others. Some of which I have never even heard of but, I love this thing! Finally, at 22 I could beat Sonic the Hedgehog, or maybe get past the second boss in Altered Beast!

largeam a little disappointed that it doesn’t have Sonic 3. I am also missing Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion. I really wish it had The Haunting on it as well but, maybe I can find them cheap online as cartridges! I suppose I could also get them on an emulator for free Castle_of_illusion_Mickey_mousebut where is the fun in that!?

At this point I want a whole collection of systems just like this for NES and hell, why not make a N64 or classic Playstation or Dreamcast systems as well? I would love to play all of these old games without taking up so much space with cases and systems. The Sega one is smaller than a single game case!

In short, this thing is awesome and if you grew up with a Sega Genesis for at least part of your life, I suggest it.
