Feminerd: Promiscuity

Fangirls, I know there is a thought that women should be quiet and demure, and believe me, those bother me.  But I think the idea that women shouldn’t have a lot of sex is the thing that bothers me more than the others.

I Love Female Orgasm Image

I have always believed that it’s your body, you do what you want with it.  If you want to make notches in your bedpost for every person you sleep with, do it.  Cover that bedpost with notches, girl.  Boys get this weird praise for sleeping with a ton of women, but we get shunned for it.  That’s not fair, at all.  Plus, how are those dudes sleeping with us if we’re supposed to be so chaste?

I think that if you’re having fun, and being safe, you’re free to do what you want.  This also goes for clothing.  Sadly, our society believes that the shorter your skirt, or the tighter your shirt, the more likely you are to have sex.  That could be true, or totally false, depending on the person.  I wear short skirts because they make me feel good.  I also enjoy sex, but that doesn’t mean that Joe Anyboy can assume that I want him.

The way I dress has nothing to do with the amount of effort it takes to get me into bed.  I love sex, but don’t like most people, and it takes a whole lot before I’ll hop into bed.  But that’s me.  Every woman is different, and we need to be treated that way.

Taylor_Swift_1989

Ever since 1989 came out, I worship Taylor Swift as a goddess.  She wears what she wants, dates who she wants, and doesn’t give a damn.  I know I could take a hint from her; be confident, and do what you want.  To be a total cliche, the world is your oyster, ladies.

Please don’t let the ways boys think about you stop you from doing what you want.  Remember to keep safe (condoms and pepper spray), but keep doing you.
