Nerds Gotta Drink: Mr Incredible’s Mimosas

Fangirls, when was the last time you watched The Incredibles?  I love that movie, with a passion as hot as the volcanic lava Mr Incredible throws that robot into.  As much as I love the story of The Incredibles, one thing trumps it; the scene where Mr Incredible is flying to the island after a training montage, and his ship asks if he wants more mimosa.  Of course he does!

Fangirls, have you ever had a mimosa?  Because they’re delightful.  The other night I was feeling quite Incredible, and decided to watch the movie and drink mimosas instead of going to bed after work.  So I grabbed some OJ and wine, and got to drinking.

Now, mimosas are usually made with champagne, but I’m really in love with this wine my mum bought me (plus the bottle is so tiny and precious, of course I had to use it).  So I used Barefoot Moscato, which is incredibly sweet, and of course, orange juice.

I used about 1/4 of the little bottle per mimosa, then filled the rest of the glass with orange juice.  It ended up being about half and half, which was totally okay with me.  I was a bit bummed that I had already drank half of the bottle and could only get two drinks out of it, but it was still lovely.

The thing I really enjoy about this drink is that it’s super sweet, and won’t get you trashed (at least not after just two).  It’s truly incredible, and all of you 21+ Fangirls should definitely try it out!

Please remember that drinking and driving is dangerous; no matter what you think, your super power is not driving while even slightly intoxicated, so be safe, and have fun, Fangirls!
