Fangirls, I love free things I love free things even more when they’re games I can download onto my phone to make my time at the bus stop less boring. So when I downloaded Flow Free, and couldn’t stop playing it, life was pretty good.
Flow Free is the free version of a really eat puzzle app. There are different colored points on a grid, and the objective is simple: match the colored points without crossing lines. Sounds super easy, right?
Nope. I mean, of course it’s simple at first, in the 5×5 grids, but when you get further up, it definitely gets harder. There are game grids from 5×5 to 9×9, and each level is a bit harder than the next. There are 30 levels in each grid size, and then a couple other free levels before you have to start paying. I’m not about paying for a puzzle on my phone, so I stay away from those levels.
The game is really neat, and quite addicting, but there are several levels that I got so frustrated with that I gave up on them. The nice thing about this app is, when you get frustrated and can’t beat a level, you can still skip to the next level. There is no limit to the skips you do, so if there are 3 in a row that you’re having issues with, that’s okay. Skip them and go back at another time, or never at all!
I think it’s a really neat app, and that puzzles are quite great for your brain. I do think that having an iPhone 6 is helpful, though, because my screen is stinking huge, and I can see the board larger. Bottom line is, I like it, and it’s free, so you should check it out!
