Nerds Gotta Drink: Apple Pie Midnight Moon Moonshine

A couple years ago, Fangirls, I drank some Moonshine for the first time.  I wasn’t expecting it to taste good; I honestly thought it would just be gross and strong.  Luckily, it was this stuff, and I loved it.

I’m still surprised by it.  Though Midnight Moon Moonshine does taste a bit like burning, the aftertaste is what makes it; it tastes like apple pie.  I feel like that may be a bit of a “no shit,” with the flavor being apple pie, but let me tell you a thing, Fangirls.

The aftertaste makes you think you’ve got some apple pie in your mouth, minus the physical apple pie.  It’s amazing.  You know Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, when Violet tries the gum that tastes like the four-course meal?  This is the dessert portion.

When I drink it (which I do rather sparingly), I sip straight from the jar; because if you’re going to drink moonshine, you should do it from a jar.  As Nerdy with Lipstick said, “the alcohol will burn away the germs,” so it’s fine to share straight from the jar.

If you’re looking for a new drink to try, and have been interested in moonshine, grab yourself a jar of Midnight Moon.  This jar was $14 and will last me quite a while.  They also sell much larger jars for $20 (I believe).  The great thing about the smaller jar is that it’s inexpensive, so if you aren’t a huge fan, you haven’t spent a ton of money.

So go grab some Moonshine!  Try it out and tell me what you think!
