Nerds Gotta Drink: The Hulk

Fangirls, I like the grumpy green giant. I think he’s a cute grump, and I want to hang out with him all the time. So, when a coworker told me that there was a good way to make a drink that turns green like the Hulk, I got crazy pumped.

So I tried out the hulk. Equal parts Stewart’s Blue Juice and vodka. And guess what? It didn’t work. I almost turned green myself, due to upset. Luckily, it tasted wonderful. When I told my mum, in true Fangirl fashion, she looked up what made a green drink, and ran to the liquor store to get the ingredients.

The only thing green about this drink is the shot glass.

She came back with Hennessey and Hypnotiq. I put 2 shots of each into a glass with some fake ice cubes. It turned green, but it tasted awful. It’s very strong, and not the least bit sweet. The Hulk can definitely be sweet, so I think the drink is not the best.

Though both of these drinks failed spectacularly, it was neat to try them out, and though the first drink did not turn green, it was tasty. It’s definitely one to look out for; there’s a lot of sugar in those blue drinks. That sugar plus vodka can be incredibly dangerous, but still beyond tasty. I think this would make a lovely A-Bomb drink (Agents of S.M.A.S.H. anyone?), but it’s no Hulk.

So no luck with the Hulk, Fangirls. I’ll keep trying, maybe someday it’ll be as soothing as the Black Widow, and as green as the Hulk. But until then, I’ll be as lost as Cap with technology.
