Fangirls, as I’ve been working to lose weight, I’ve noticed that my interest in drinking has taken a steady delicate. I allow myself a limited number of calories daily, and therefore find it incredibly difficult to justify drinking my calories away.
I am working rather hard to get healthier, and feel better about myself, so I don’t see the need to put all of my hard work to waste by drinking often; I do still have a drink on occasion, but I don’t drink weekly, or even bi-weekly. Also, it had become a struggle to stay creative with NGD articles, as I just wasn’t feeling it a lot of the time. So my solution is to both problems; toss Nerds Gotta Drink.
Now, this won’t be gone forever, and it’s not guaranteed that it will be gone. Since I’m working on keeping the site more casual and comfortable, I’m not going to pressure myself to write about drinks biweekly, only when I make something that’s delicious and worth sharing. Otherwise I feel it’s a waste of both my and your time, and we both deserve better. So I will be writing more often about the tasty meals I make for myself and my family. I think this will be great because I get to work on my love of food photography and my love of trying new foods. Plus you get to see how great healthy food can be! It’s a win-win.
