Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask from First Aid Beauty

Time and time again we’ve discussed my love of face masks. Gimme gunk to spread on my face and feel good about my skin, please and thanks. So awhile back, Sephora did a cool deal where you could pick out a couple things and then pick out 5 samples sized things to get for free with your order, and one of the things I chose was this FAB Oatmeal Mask.

Alright first things first; oatmeal is so friggin good for you. It’s great for your tummy (not only does it fill you up, but it also soaks up undigested fat in your stomach and helps you poop it out), and it can also work wonders for your skin. Some people bathe in it, because it makes you so soft and helps rejuvenate your skin. So I hopped on that sample immediately.

The first thing I noticed about this lil packet was that it has a resealable top. That led me to realize something else; this was a sample I could get MULTIPLE USES out of. Heck yes. So I dumped some into my hand, and rubbed it on my face.

It didn’t look or feel like oatmeal. It wasn’t grainy or weird or bad; it was amazing. This mask went on smooth as butter, did not harden (cool fact it’s not supposed to), and 100% made my bath more enjoyable. When I washed it off, my skin felt smooth as the proverbial baby’s butt, and I felt more ready to conquer the world.

The long of the short is that I will be using this mask again. And again. And probably another time if I ration properly. It’s good stuff! I’m working myself up to justifying spending $9 on a package this size, but that depends on how many uses I can get out of it.

I do recommend this mask. As I’m spending less on beauty (and living that sample life forever), $9 is a pretty steep price right now. But if you’ve got money to spend, or are celebrating treat yo’self, get it. Buy this thing, because it’s great for your skin and feels awesome. But remember, you don’t need it to conquer the world. Go get ’em, Fangirls.
