Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson

I’m not going to lie to you and say that this book jacket isn’t 100% what got me interested in reading this. I saw a jean jacket looking sleeve with pins on it, and all but screamed this was made for me! Once I read the inside cover (after purchasing it) my thoughts were verified completely.

Undead Girl Gang stars Mila Flores, a high school junior with a penchant for magic. When three girls commit suicide within a week of each other, Mila knows something is off. Especially since one is her best friend. So she does what any young witch would do; she attempts to bring Riley back from the grave. But Riley isn’t the only one who comes back. The two other girls, June and Dayton, also rise from their graves.

Mila now has to work with the girls she hated most (and Riley) to figure out who killed them, and why. There is magic, zombies, and a little bit of romance – what else could you want?

I really adored this book. It’s an easy read; it took me just a couple lunch breaks to get through it, but a big part of that is because you want to know what happens next. Will the zombies be found out? Will someone else die? You’ll need to read it to find out! If you’re a fan of magic (especially Wiccan based), and high school stories, this is right up your alley! I highly recommend checking it out, wherever you can.
