Sheet Masks by Professional KISS New York

I received these sheet masks from a friend for my birthday last year, and thought it would be fun to share them with you all! As I’m sure many of you know, I’m a big fan of skincare. I really enjoy doing nice things for my face, and sheet masks are a nice way to step back from everything to just treat myself!

I have never used this type of sheet mask before, so I was really excited to dive right in. I started with the collagen mask. I don’t tend to use collagen products, but I wanted to try it anyways. Collagen is known for brightening your skin and giving it a healthy glow (it’s also good for your hair and nails). I think this mask really took care of my skin by doing more than just brightening! I had a soothing as heck time wearing this mask (even though it looked like a slice of bologna slapped onto my face), and when it came off, my skin felt tighter and brighter. There was even some leftover serum in the package that I used for the next couple of days to replace my moisturizer!

The charcoal mask was also a lot of fun! I was relieved that it looked less like bologna slapped on my face, but since it’s not something that my neighbors see, so it doesn’t really matter! This claimed to be a pore refining mask, and while it did that, it didn’t last. That is kind of what I expected, though. Masks like this are fantastic the night before big events, but after a couple days (and once the excess serum is gone), your pores are going back to their regular size. I think if I were to use this mask again, I’d use it before an important event, not just on a random evening.

I really enjoyed both of these masks. I thought they were cute and fun, and they made my skin feel nice. I really do enjoy sheet masks, because they are cute and fun. I haven’t bought any in awhile, because I have so many liquid masks to get through, but I will forever be a fan of the sheet mask.
