Hello friends and Fangirls! As I’m sure you’ve noticed (or maybe you haven’t; no judgement either ay), things have been pretty quiet around here as of late. I have been thinking quite awhile on this, but I haven’t been feeling like writing for myself as much. I’ve been really enjoying writing for Sartorial Geek (you can check out my articles there, here), and I’m looking to do more guest spots this new year.
Since I’m enjoying that more than writing for myself, Fangirls Are We has had less and less content. I’m okay with that, because it just doesn’t feel right anymore. That being said, I’m still writing a ton! I love writing, and am not stopping that any time soon. I’ve just found new avenues for it.
That being said, the question (of course) is what happens here? Well, per the last few months, nothing really changes. There will be updates if I have something that I can’t write about elsewhere, but for the most part, it’s going to be radio silence. The FAW Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook will remain, but will also not be updated. I’m not looking to get rid of those things just yet, because I’m not 100% certain what the future holds just yet.
When it comes down to it, I’m tired of working alone. I love the communities that I’ve found myself a part of, and am grateful for the experiences (and people) I’ve found here at Fangirls Are We. This isn’t goodbye, it’s a see ya later.
All the best in 2020,
