This book was the most perfect post-Halloween read as I could ask for! I’m a big Graphic Novel fan, and Fake Blood by Whitney Gardner is a fangtastic combination of GNs and middle grade writing. I fell in love before I even opened the book!
Friends and Fangirls, oh my goodness. I bought this graphic novel ages ago, almost immediately after seeing Atomic Blonde. This is the book that the movie is based on, and if you’ve read it, you know why.
I grabbed this graphic novel from the library for the heck of it, and I’m so glad I did! It’s a relatively short story, but still a phenomenal one, well worth checking out.
Friends and Fangirls, I’m only 3 volumes in, but I am in Love with Cucumber Quest! This phenomenal series is great for all ages, and is beyond adorable. Let’s get into it!
I have been a big fan of Gravity Falls for quite some time now, but it ended awhile ago. It was a bummer to see the show end, but I think it went out with one heck of a bang, so it felt complete. But recently, Alex Hirsch and Disney Books released a collection of four stories!
A coworker recommended and lent this book to me, because it’s a graphic novel / novel hybrid, and seemed really up my alley. She was incredibly correct, and I want to encourage you to go check it out as well.
I’ve been a big fan of Gudsnuk for 4-5 years now. She made Henchgirl, a fantastic webcomic-turned-graphic novel about a Henchgirl who didn’t like her job. Now, she has released Making Friends through Scholastic’s Graphix publishing house, and I’m so glad I got to read it.
