I picked up this trade up awhile ago while perusing Barnes and Noble. It has gotten quite a bit of attention, and as I trust Boom! And all of its properties, I grabbed a copy. Let me tell you something, Fangirls; Fence is full of babes.
I love me some short form comics. I love web comics and collections, and that is a part of why I knew We Are Here Forever was made for me!
I picked up the first two volumes of Moto Crush ages ago, read about half of the first one, and didn’t mark my spot. So I finally picked it back up (don’t worry, I restarted) and I’m in love. The characters, design, the fashion; it’s all incredible. So let’s get into it.
Last year, Manfried the Man came out. It was about a cat whose man got loose, and he did an entire campaign to find him. In this alternate world where cats and humans have switched, it was a really fun read. Now, on May 14, you can see what Manfried is up to again!
This graphic novel has been getting a lot of attention lately, so I’ve finally read it! I bought it a month or so ago, and I’m glad that I finally sat down to read it. It only took me about 30 minutes, so it wasn’t a long read, but it was impactful.
I read eleven books last month (three of which were audio books), and I’m kind of proud of that. I’m hoping to go a step further and read twelve this month, but first let’s go over what I read!
I received this graphic novel as a review copy from Quirk books, and I didn’t know much about it. I knew it was an adaptation of a Salvador Dalí screenplay, starring the Marx brothers, but I had no idea what it really was, or the work that went into it.
