I have been a big fan of Gravity Falls for quite some time now, but it ended awhile ago. It was a bummer to see the show end, but I think it went out with one heck of a bang, so it felt complete. But recently, Alex Hirsch and Disney Books released a collection of four stories!
know it’s a bit silly, but the first thing I picked up when I finally got a library card, was a couple of the Tinker Bell comic books from Disney. I grabbed four of these comics from the library; Tinker Bell and the Flying Monster, Tinker Bell and Blaze, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, and Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy. They were all a lot of fun, definitely children’s comics, and just a genuinely good read.
Friends and Fangirls, we know that I have an addiction to Disney. I spend too much money in the parks, on the app, and even on excursions to Disney. One place that’s far off from being an option is visiting the Disney Parks that are overseas. But they still have incredible merchandise, so I have to get my hands on it somehow! So I found out about Tokyo Kawaii Club, and signed up for a trial month box. It came in last week, and I loved it!
I added this book to my Amazon list ages ago and never got around to reading it because there always seemed to be more appealing books to read. But the other day, while ordering a bunch of stuff for my upcoming trip to Ireland, I threw it in the cart just because. Since it’s relatively short and I’ve been waiting for ages to read it, I grabbed that first, and dove right in.
Fangirls, I struggled with these. Not the cakes themselves, but the frosting. I got incredibly frustrated and was so down on myself, but when I brought them in to work, they were a hit. I’m really glad I pushed through with this, because they were incredibly tasty, and reminiscent of one of my favorite Big Hero 6 characters, Honey Lemon!
Fangirls, if you follow my personal accounts anywhere, you know that I am obsessed with Moana. It’s an absolutely gorgeous movie that features a girl who was chosen by the ocean to grab a demigod and save the world. So when it came out on Tuesday, I was inspired to make some cupcakes that were reminiscent of the movie.
As many of you know, I’m a ridiculous Disney fan. I lose my mind every time I get to go to a park; I worked there and realized a need for Disney everything. One of my absolute favorite attractions is the Haunted Mansion. In the Mansion, you get into a “Doom Buggy” and make your way through a mansion that is packed full of grim, grinning ghosts. So when I heard that Disney Kingdoms was releasing a Haunted Mansion comic, I got incredibly excited. But I kept forgetting about it when I went to a comic shop. Luckily, while visiting New York in November, my mum suggested we say hello to my friends at their comic shop. There, I picked up the trade for train reading, but totally forgot about it until recently. Now that I’ve finished it, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
