I watched this movie exclusively because Barb from Stranger Things was in it. But when I started watching it, I fell in love.
Awhile back, I read Crazy Rich Asians in anticipation of the movie coming out. I wanted to know if it was something that I may be interested in. I definitely was, as you can tell if you read my review. Two of my bookish friends were also working on reading it (one already had, the other had heard only positives), so we decided to go see it together. It was neat to experience the movie after the book (which is always a nail biting situation). We finally saw it this past weekend!
This past weekend we had two Asian focused films come out. Crazy Rich Asians (which I have yet to see), and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Luckily, the latter was a Netflix movie, so I watched it Saturday morning.
I know that Teen Titans GO! is a pretty divisive subject, but I’m someone who loves it. I have no beef with the cartoon from when I was younger, but this dumb, fun show is directly up my alley. So when they came to the big screen this summer, you can bet your butt I got tickets!
I know Hotel Transylvania movies re for kids. I know I’m 25 years old and still living for animated movies. And I know everyone is watching Infinity War. But I loved Hotel Transylvania 3.
It’s been a long time coming, Fangirls. We’ve waited years for more Incredibles; I’ve been waiting since 2004 to see what’s going on with the Underminer, and how the Parrs deal with juggling super-life and the normal stuff. So to beat the heat last weekend, we went to the movies and fell in love with the Parrs all over again.
THIS WILL BE A SPOILER FREE REVIEW, DO NOT FEAR
It happened. Ten years of building up to the biggest showdown in the universe and it’s finally here. Avengers Infinity War opened on Thursday night, and you can bet very easily that I was there for the earliest showing possible. I sat there, two and a half hours of movie, and I spent those two and a half hours going through a roller coaster of beauty.
