I know that Teen Titans GO! is a pretty divisive subject, but I’m someone who loves it. I have no beef with the cartoon from when I was younger, but this dumb, fun show is directly up my alley. So when they came to the big screen this summer, you can bet your butt I got tickets!
I know Hotel Transylvania movies re for kids. I know I’m 25 years old and still living for animated movies. And I know everyone is watching Infinity War. But I loved Hotel Transylvania 3.
It’s been a long time coming, Fangirls. We’ve waited years for more Incredibles; I’ve been waiting since 2004 to see what’s going on with the Underminer, and how the Parrs deal with juggling super-life and the normal stuff. So to beat the heat last weekend, we went to the movies and fell in love with the Parrs all over again.
THIS WILL BE A SPOILER FREE REVIEW, DO NOT FEAR
It happened. Ten years of building up to the biggest showdown in the universe and it’s finally here. Avengers Infinity War opened on Thursday night, and you can bet very easily that I was there for the earliest showing possible. I sat there, two and a half hours of movie, and I spent those two and a half hours going through a roller coaster of beauty.
I spent a good chunk of my high school years watching the original FullMetal Alchemist anime and loving it. I still get nostalgic for it even now. When I first heard about the live action version and saw that first trailer, I needed to see it. I hoped and prayed for it to come to American theaters. It didn’t, but thankfully Netflix got it. I just watched it, and let me tell you how much I loved it.
A week or so ago, I woke up extra early (thanks, brain), got a bunch of stuff done, and wore my injured self out. After hobbling around the apartment for 2 hours, I plopped on the couch and fired up Netflix. Bright was in the new section, and I had been harassed by it daily at work; ads for Bright were popping up on YouTube and Spotify. So I figured, why not?
Friends and Fangirls, I saw Atomic Blonde this past weekend and had the absolute best time. Saying that movie was everything I had hoped it would be is an understatement, and I can not recommend it enough. So let’s talk about it.
There will be spoilers here, but none too serious.
