I’m very late to this party. Riverdale premiered almost two years ago, and I’m only now reading the comics that inspired the show. This book is an amalgamation if Riverdale’s greatest hits; inside, there are 5 first issues that led up to the show.
As I’m sure many of you do, I tend to struggle to decide what to watch on Netflix. We have a couple things that we watch every night after work; we catch up on Game Grumps, Pet Collective, and Fail Videos on YouTube, and on Monday’s we watch Bob’s Burgers on Hulu. But the other day, we saw an advertisement for Aggretsuko, and I fell in love immediately.
A few weeks ago, I got bored and decided to scroll through my Netflix list to find something new. I landed on Syfy’s Haven. It had been on my list for a while so I thought what the heck. I’ll let you in on a secret – it’s literally only taken me about 3-4 weeks to finish this show. It’s so good.
I was raised on Star Trek. As a baby, I’d watch the Original Series reruns and new episodes of Next Generation. I have very distinct memories of watching the finales of DS9 and Voyager. I enjoyed Enterprise as a teenager. And now, as an adult, I get to watch an all new Star Trek – Star Trek Discovery.
I binged all of Atypical this weekend, and I really enjoyed it. It was interesting and frustrating, but overall a good show.
I had an incredibly busy weekend, Fangirls. I dealt with some serious personal stuff Thursday through Saturday, had an Art Fight Saturday night, and then my anniversary was Sunday. We hadn’t planned anything for the anniversary other than gifts and dinner, and I’m glad, because that meant we got to watch all of the latest Wet Hot American Summer installment.
I want to start by saying I know nothing about Archie. I read one of the first issues of a revival of it because a friend recommended it. But the show Riverdale has been on my watch list since I first saw the weird CW treatment it was getting.
