A lot of people have a lot of varying opinions regarding Buzzfeed. However, I think for the most part, people are as into it as I am. I think they are the perfect media & entertainment source for young people today, and are just making killer content. Among that content, are some damn amazing videos that I can’t seem to take my eyes off of.
It’s no lie, Fangirls. I love cheesy dumb movies. Honestly, I love to judge & poke fun at them and their predictability, but in the end I really do fall for a crappy love story. But why do all these love stories involving same sex couples always have to be so forbidden? I’m not sure if movie producers understand how same sex relationships work, it’s not all hidden lust & forced to be temporary. I hope for the day that a gay couple is shown without all the emphasis being on the gay part. That all being said, I can’t deny the fact that I enjoyed this movie a lot.
Well, Fangirls, since I finally saw the 80’s cult classic Heathers a few weeks ago, it’s taken over my thoughts. I’ve done a lot of pondering on the plot and characters of this movie, and thought that it was a perfect candidate for our Villain Chat. But, then it occurred to me that I couldn’t actually land on just one villain of this movie.
So two nights ago, Fangirls, I some how stumbled upon quite an interesting movie on Netflix. It seemed like just my type of bad forbidden love story movie. Even if they’re terrible, I just love watching movies about weird love / sex stories, for the sake of both getting a laugh & observing the weird places sexuality takes you sometimes. I thought the would be awful, but I found myself very wrapped up in the story line and enjoying the movie quite a bit. Until the ending, of course.
Get ready for a whole lot of spoilers, Fangirls! If you want to watch & experience this movie for yourself, I’d turn back now.
Fangirls, if you haven’t already been able to tell, I live a lot of my life on the internet. I’ve grown up with just a few close friends, while on the side being part of a giant, heart warming community of people that I don’t know. For me, most of that has been on YouTube. And my love, though thrives for dozens of YouTubers, has focused on the Holy Trinity of Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, and Mamrie Hart. Those three lovely ladies have made a long anticipated movie that has finally arrived and that is more amazing than I could have imagined. Camp Takota is here, Fangirls.
