As I’m sure many of you do, I tend to struggle to decide what to watch on Netflix. We have a couple things that we watch every night after work; we catch up on Game Grumps, Pet Collective, and Fail Videos on YouTube, and on Monday’s we watch Bob’s Burgers on Hulu. But the other day, we saw an advertisement for Aggretsuko, and I fell in love immediately.
I spent a good chunk of my high school years watching the original FullMetal Alchemist anime and loving it. I still get nostalgic for it even now. When I first heard about the live action version and saw that first trailer, I needed to see it. I hoped and prayed for it to come to American theaters. It didn’t, but thankfully Netflix got it. I just watched it, and let me tell you how much I loved it.
Thanks to Netflix, my love and obsession over the Fate/ series continues. They recently released the newest chapter in the world, Fate/Apocrypha. I’ll admit, I was hesitant to watch it. But as soon as I started it, I knew it would be as wonderful as the others.
I just finished one of the greatest anime I’ve watched. It’s part of an entire series of stories, and I will for sure be continuing the stories. This one, the prequel to all that comes after, is called Fate/Zero. And it’s beautiful.
You may not expect this, but I’m kind of a closet anime fan. I have been since I was little and Sailor Moon was on TV. Lately, I’ve gotten back into the genre, and one that I’ve fallen in love with is Yuri!!! On Ice.
Fangirls, I have finally begun watching the magical girl anime, Sailor Moon! I’ve been told for ages by several people that I would really enjoy it, and now that we have hulu, I can watch it without having to pay the crazy prices for box sets (season 1 was about $75 when I checked). I’m glad that so many people have recommended it to me because its phenomenal and I love winding down while watching it.
