I finally tried another of my UK products that I’ve been hoarding, and I liked it a lot more than I anticipated! Flowering Tea is a bubble bar from Lush, which means it’s something you use while the water is running instead of when your bath is full. It also means that it’s meant for multiple uses, so there’s no dang reason for me to hoard it.
Absolutely ages ago, the boyfriend and I went to a small business to grab some important decor. But like always, I couldn’t skip their beauty section, where I grabbed something summer-y as heck; shower bursts. As you’ll remember, I tried one of these out from lush awhile back, so I decided to check out one that’s not quite as expensive.
Shower Bursts are a great thing for folks who don’t have bath tubs, or don’t like baths, but like having nice scents brighten up their shower time. The directions recommend putting it in a sachet, or on the floor of your shower, so the water just hits it, and creates a lovely scented steam. I, however, don’t like random things sitting in the floor of my shower; I fear that I will slip on things because I’m practically blind, and incredibly clumsy. So I put it in the built in soap holder in my shower.
Almost a month later, it’s still there. It definitely isn’t a well shaped dome anymore, but it still makes my shower smell bright and fun, and it’s a really great addition to my showers. I enjoy having it, and while I may be a bit bummed when it runs out, I know where I can get more.
I am really glad I grabbed this. It’s a simple little product that makes for a bright and beautiful shower, so a little bit of pampering can go into every day. If you like scents that you don’t have to rub onto your body, or aren’t a fan of baths, or even just have sensitive skin, I recommend these. They get a little wet and make the shower smell incredible!

Fangirls, I love Lush. Of course I do; it’s a lovely company with a great message, and lovely products. But I can’t always afford Lush. This has led me to the bath section in my local Hannaford (the main grocery store here).
I don’t think I’m ever not going to be into baths. I love sliding into a nice hot dip and just letting all of my bothers disappear into the water. The other day I was feeling far from my best, so I threw some grocery store bath salts into the tub, and took a soak. I didn’t expect much from the salts, as I’ve become a stuck up jerk when it comes to my baths. But you know what? This was amazing.
