Hello again, readers! I was pretty dang busy reading this month, and made sure that I got plenty of reading done! Let’s jump right into what I read this past month!
I picked up the first two volumes of Moto Crush ages ago, read about half of the first one, and didn’t mark my spot. So I finally picked it back up (don’t worry, I restarted) and I’m in love. The characters, design, the fashion; it’s all incredible. So let’s get into it.
Fangirls, I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve read Batgirl. I tend to like to write a lot of my stuff beforehand, so I have time to get ahead instead of stressing about writing in the mornings, so a couple months back I wrote a whole bunch of Batgirl stuff, and haven’t touched it since. Until today, where I welcomed the comforting style and colors of Batgirl back onto my eyes. Its a dang phenomenal series, and there’s really not much out there like it.
Ooooh my goodness, Fangirls, this is some great stuff right here. This issue is all about loooove and it’s adorable, but it’s also a lot to handle, especially for Ms Gordon, so let’s get to it!
Faaaaangirls. This is getting so good I can’t even consider handling it! Frankie is so darn badass, and Babs is doing a great job and everyone is just so cute! I love it.
Fangirl, I love Batgirl. I think she’s both rad and adorable, but in this issue it seems she’s gotten in a bit over her head. With helping out with Alysia’s wedding, the cowl, and keeping Frankie out of the line of fire, Babs has a lot going on in her life. And in this issue, that multiplies tenfold.
Being that 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, I was looking forward to this issue kicking a whole lot of butt. It did, and a lot happened that I didn’t expect to see. Issue 41 left off with Batman telling Batgirl that she’s under arrest (after her father having told her that he is Batman now), and that’s right where 42 picks up.
