Alright Fangirls, it’s the last Friday before I leave. While there are some last minute things that aren’t packed yet, I have a pretty final idea of what is coming with my for my trip to NY and then overseas. I think I’ve packed pretty reasonably, and am honestly proud of how little I’m taking. When I was younger, I went to Europe for 3 weeks and had a full size suitcase, a carry on, and a personal bag all stuffed to the brim. Things are different this time.
For this month I’m going to be sharing what I’ve done, packing – wise to prepare for my trip to Ireland and England. Since toiletries are the the easiest to pack early (even makeup!), I thought it best to start with them.
Fangirls, I’ve read four of Rowell’s books before, and I enjoyed all of them. This book was definitely aimed at an older audience (which is fine by me; I’m not really the Young Adult target audience, even if I enjoy those books). It’s based in 1999, with the worry of Y2K very present. But that’s not the main focus.
At first, I thought this was going to be a book that I hated. I thought it was too obviously fanfiction and too obvious with the plot and just too much. But then I got really into it. Really into it.
