Fangirls, I’ve been hella busy lately, so there’s no video for today. I’ve been all over the place this summer, and I haven’t really talked much about it here, just on my personal twitter. I am definitely having a blast, but I feel like I owe you all some explanation to what’s going on in my life, because you all really deserve it. So let me tell you how things have been so far.
So we all made it back safe and sound from what I look forward to every year; ConnectiCon!Read More »
As ConnectiCon and what I refer to as “con season” comes upon us, a lot of us might be struggling to style a wig into what we had envisioned or, to even find a good place to buy a wig. Never fear, because I am here to help!Read More »
Fangirls, I’ve been thinking a lot about my time in the Disney College Program recently. I’ve been thinking about both times, and the different experiences I had at both. Part of the reason I’ve been thinking about Disney so much is my Ohana is planning a reunion trip down to Florida to Walt Disney World because it’s been about 2 years since we’ve been together as a group. Thinking about Disney usually makes me pretty sad, but recently I realized that I’m so grateful that things didn’t go as planned on my second program.
In case you couldn’t tell from the amount we’ve been tweeting, writing, and instagraming about it, ConnectiCon was this past weekend. This year we all split up more, and ended up condensing our articles, so we don’t ruminate for two weeks again (twitter is another story). So now it’s my turn.
Fangirls! It feels like a long time since we’ve had an update in the Fangirl world. This month, Marvel takes over a bit. While other comic publishers seem to be in a bit of a lull with announcements and new series, Marvel is on it. With the announcement of new titles, upcoming releases for July & August, and a big movie on the way, Marvel stole the show this month.
Yep, I stole Kyle’s title a little bit. Oops. Fangirls, Connecticon is so great. I had so much fun, met so many awesome people, and already can’t wait for next year. It was great to see old faces & familiar vendors & events, and get involved with a great handful of new people & things as well. Connecticon 2013 was my first con, and it was great to have 2014’s Connecticon still bring along some new experiences too.
