With the release of the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens there’s been a lot of excitement (understatement) about continuing the Star Wars franchise. Picking up where the original three movies left off, the new Star Wars introduced a whole new cast of characters to fall in love with and new story lines to unfold in front of our eyes. There’s a whole generation about to fall in love with Star Wars all over again, and as a lifelong Star Wars nut, it’s really exciting. However there are some out there, I’m sure you’ve seen them, who aren’t so excited for the new Star Wars movies. They’re on your social media pages talking about how they don’t care about Star Wars or have never seen the movies or find it weird that people can be so excited about it. Well this article is dedicated to those people. Sit on down children, I’m about to tell you why Star Wars is so important.
Since I was a child, I’ve been trying to pull out as much information about my family as I could from my parents. I’ve always felt a sense of importance about it. When I got to that age when you realize your parents do not know the answer to every question, things slowed down. Until a few months ago, I wasn’t taking in much in the way of new information. A lot of people have a lot of varying opinions regarding Buzzfeed. However, I think for the most part, people are as into it as I am. I think they are the perfect media & entertainment source for young people today, and are just making killer content. Among that content, are some damn amazing videos that I can’t seem to take my eyes off of.
Fangirls, let me tell you all about a little show that has come to mean a lot to me. You won’t find it on any prime time slot, on any fancy network, or any television for that matter. This Just Out with Liz Feldman is a web show that came to be a huge source of knowledge & entertainment for little 14-year-old me. Now, it’s back at it to entertain the 21-year-old me. I’m welcoming This Just Out back with wide open arms.
It’s easy to get caught up and more interested in the attitudes towards sex & sexuality in your own community, or even your country as a whole. When researching sexuality, I focus a lot on the US because that is where I’m at, and that’s what effects me. However, thinking about sexuality on a more global scale can really get the wheels turning in your head. Sexuality is a grand, universal thing and each community, culture, and religion have there own view points on what to make of it.
Happy New Year, Fangirls! Today, I thought I would steal the show a little bit for my first post of the year. This recipe doesn’t have any theme or pair with any character, it’s just something I’ve recently been in love with. I’ve recently been learning a lot about Hispanic culture & cuisine, and want do a whole lot more of that this year. So I figured I would start things out by trying my hand at it. The quick & easy way, for starters.
One of my favorite things to do when I’m not talking about sex, is listen to other people talk about sex. I geek out over what any one has to say, even if I might not necessarily agree or if it’s not entirely correct. Though some of the best sex conversation comes from your everyday friends, acquaintances, or whomever, some of the most fascinating stuff of course comes from people who study this stuff inside and out, and come up with their own unique way of giving that information to the world.
