Friends and Fangirls, I love subscription boxes. So dang much. When I got a bunch of ads for Yume Twins box, I decided to sign up for a three month subscription, to see what it was all about (the super cute hedgehog plush in the first box helped convince me). I really enjoyed being a part of this subscription, and I’d like to share some of the cute stuff I got with all of you!
Fangirls, I’ve got to be honest with you. I did not want to give this book a second glance. We came across it at Baltimore Comic Con and I was not super into the art style. But next to the table a small crowd was gathering, and the divider had been moved because there was a sweet little dog just hanging out, getting pets. So I stopped and asked if I could join in with the love for the pup, and his owner said I could, and started to tell me about the comic at the table.
To say this week has been eventful would be a massive understatement. I feel very deserving of a laid back weekend, but I know that we aren’t staying home tomorrow because one of the roommates is having a Madden party, and bathroom trips in my pjs in front of a bunch of dudes I don’t know isn’t really my gig. So the crazy won’t be ending just yet (as cliché as it is, I think it’s just starting.
Fangirls! Earlier this week, Cooper (my absolutely excellent little puppy) and I received our very first BarkBox in the mail! So Coop and I sat down to record this video, but we didn’t really get a chance to review the products individually. That’s why we’re here now!
I like to consider myself a very practical nerd. When it comes to buying and giving gifts I like to go with things you’ll really use. So consider this a practical nerds holiday gift guide.
Welcome to my first Nerds Gotta Drink contribution, Fangirls! I’m very happy to be here. And I’m very happy to showing you one of my cocktails in the name of one of my favorite characters. In more ways than just the name, this drink seemed very fitting for Lockjaw; It’s peppy, packs a punch, and belongs right at your side. It’s a Fangirl’s best friend. Read More »
This app is humiliatingly fun, Fangirls. You know that type of fun. Like you’re being roasted or something. It’s a brilliantly simple idea for a game. Take three numbers (1, 2, 3) and put them together in easy equations. Add in a timer, a snarky laughing dog, and you’ve got an app that I can’t stop playing.
