I’m not going to lie to you friends; it’s been so long since I’ve written about clothes that I feel a bit silly right now. But I also feel like I got one of the coolest shirts on the planet the other day, so we’re pushing through!
Fangirls, I am in love with subscription boxes. It’s a dangerous obsession, but I’m not too concerned; I can totally stop whenever I want to, I just don’t want to right now. One that I had been lusting over for quite some time was the FbFitFun box. I wanted it, but it’s a rather expensive subscription, even though it’s only 4 times a year. But a couple things worked out; I wanted a scarf that was in it (and the scarf alone is about $35), and I got a coupon code that reduced the price pretty significantly. So I sat myself down and justified the heck out of this box.
I am so glad I tried this out. I was not expecting it to be as full as it was, but as you can see, it’s packed! There were so many things in there, and I was so anxious to try them all out. But I did something I usually don’t do first; I found the booklet that tells you how much the items in the box are worth and needed to sit the heck down because I spend around $50 on this box valued at about $260. That’s so much money for these things, and they’re all worth it!
Fangirls, I’ve been drooling over this book since I first saw it was coming out. I decided that it was a comic worth waiting to get physically, so I just got the first two issues this weekend. And of course, when I got them, I immediately plopped down to read them. Written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and illustrated by Leslie Hung, Snotgirl is a dream right off the bat.
One of the most difficult things for me to do, is to leave the house without eyeliner. I have always felt that it’s difficult to see my eyes behind my glasses, so I’ve always done a pretty serious amount of liner. I’m pretty happy with my ability, now, but finding an eyeliner that works for me is a bit tough. I’m very happy with Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, which I’ve had as my usual for a couple years now, but when I tried her Lightning Liner (which has many color options), I was incredibly disappointed. So I tried out Stila’s Stay All Day waterproof liner, and was incredibly pleased with the results.
For those confused by the name in the author field here, allow me to introduce myself.

Fangirls, I’m so into the spooky feel of Halloween, but my love for the looks of the season trump the feeling. I love Wednesday Addams’ style, I love sparkly black stuff, flannel, sweaters, all that rad stuff. When my mother brought home spooky nails from Broadway Impress Nails for me, I lost it, I was so pumped.
Fangirls, awhile back, when I visited Vermont, we went into a rather small bookshop. I have a difficult time not buying books when I’m surrounded by them, so I found one that was rather small, and nabbed it to travel with. Most of my bus ride was filled with naps and snacks, so reading took a bit of a back seat. But a couple weeks ago I took time out from stressing to finish up Worn Stories, and became incredibly grateful that I got it.
