Of course this was a cover buy. This art is so dang good, I can’t handle it. But what’s under the cover is so much better, it’s mind blowing.
Here I am, with another dang cover buy. I’m a big sucker for a good cover, and Broken Things just has such a good cover, who wouldn’t want to buy it?! But I finally read it, and wow what a trip!
This is another book that has been firmly seated on my TBR, waiting for me to get to reading. I read it last month, and while it didn’t click with me as a favorite, it was a truly interesting book, and that made me want to tell all of you about it!
My boyfriend has introduced me to the world of cheesey horror movies. You know, the really bad ones? Part of their charm lies within hosted shows. These shows usually break the movie into chunks, with a host dissecting how bad parts are, where it was filmed, what the cast is up to now. They’re a big part of horror culture that I wasn’t really aware of until recently. A big name in hosted shows is Elvira, maybe you’ve heard of her!
I grabbed this book awhile back because I got some promotional nail polish in an OwlCrate. Promotional add-on’s: they work.
I had my eye on this for quite some time, because of this dang cover. Its cute and fun with incredible colors. So I finally picked it up, and ended up bringing it on vacation with me.
Gosh dang it, Danielle Vega has done it again! As a huge fan of The Merciless series and Survive the Night, I was begging The Haunted to come out. I’m a huge fan of reading horror and suspense novels, and I’ve found that no one hits the same notes in those categories as Danielle Vega. So of course I prioritized it when The Haunted was released!
