I saw this movie on Sunday and am still processing it. Wow. It was phenomenal and I can not get over any of it. Also, I’m grateful to the boyfriend who suggested we go early to avoid crowds; there were 2 other couples in the theatre with us, and the ones that sat in the same row as us were as excited as we were, so it felt great to see it then.
I’m really excited about this movie but I have to tell you right now, there will be spoilers strewn throughout this article, so consider this your…
This series is full of twists and turns, Fangirls. But by far the biggest surprise of Elektra, is that it just ended. Maybe that surprise is more on my part because I wasn’t paying attention to any sort of comic news update in which I could have been informed, but I didn’t hear any buzz in the comic shop or anything. I found out this comic was over when I just read this issue, with a note from it’s creators. I’m upset that it’s over, but mainly I’m just pissed with how they ended it.
Though it seems as though one conflict just ended, we’re already at another climax here, Fangirls. Issue #11 is the second to last issue of this series, so it’s understandable that they get right into another situation, and bringing things to a close. Or rather, bringing back an older conflict that went unsolved.
Fangirls! I’m delighted to discuss the second & final part of the Black Canary & Zatanna graphic novel, but sad that it’s over. I enjoyed this book a great deal. The friendship between the two is both adorable and badass. Together their one hell of a team that beat down there way out of a spooky situation in Bloodspell. When we left off, the two were ready to kick some ass & break some enchantments.
Oh, Fangirls, I’ve been waiting long while to read this book since it came out a few months ago. Unfortunately, I have to budget my trade and graphic novels purchases. But finally, the Black Canary / Zatanna team up book is in my possession. Somehow, it’s even better than I expected, dudes. It’s hilarious, intense, and full of these two kicking serious butt. They’re one hell of a team, Fangirls.
