A while back, I read Sepulchre and Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. Both were part of a trilogy loosely connected by very enjoyable. I’ve finished the third book, Citadel, and though it was different than the other two, I still enjoyed it.
Fangirls, two weeks ago I told you that I was super excited to go drink around the world in EPCoT’s World Showcase. Well, now I’ve done it, and though I don’t remember the names of all the drinks, I do have the pictures to prove it!
Fangirls, this weekend I’m embarking on a trip down to Florida to meet up with my Ohana and do Disney together for the first time in 3 years. I’ve missed them all so much, and feel like there is so much to catch up on. People have gotten married, others engaged, more tattoos, lives have just changed. One thing that has (obviously) changed, is our age. All of us are now legal drinking age. In Walt Disney World, that gives us a couple new options; drinking at Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, and drinking around the world in EPCoT.
This series, Fangirls, is too great. Really. Every time I sit down to read it, I end up having to stop reading briefly because holy shoot it’s fantastic. Amazing. Just, wow. So I guess it’s time for a synopsis.
Unfortunately, yes. I did see this movie first. If I had known that this was a comic, I certainly would have read it ages ago. But sometimes, you’re just not in the know and you don’t realize it was a book first until the movie has ended. I’ve heard, and sometimes agreed, with that idea that whatever you experience first, you’ll enjoy better. It’s what you’ll compare the second to. But, rather than being able to pick one, I’m finding that they each make me look at the other one a bit differently.
Greetings, Fangirls! Not long ago, the third volume of Peter Panzerfaust was released, to my enjoyment. The tales in this book get a little more heavy, and stuff gets intense. I mean, when you’re a band of orphans forming your own resistance against the Nazi’s in the Southern France, things are bound to get a bit emotional.
Fangirls! For quite some time, I’ve been hearing about this movie. I’ve heard people harshly critique it, talk about their love for it, start up some controversy. I’ve pretty much heard every opinion imaginable regarding this film. So I thought that it was time to form an opinion my own.
