It happened. Ten years of building up to the biggest showdown in the universe and it’s finally here. Avengers Infinity War opened on Thursday night, and you can bet very easily that I was there for the earliest showing possible. I sat there, two and a half hours of movie, and I spent those two and a half hours going through a roller coaster of beauty.
We went to see GotG2 this weekend, and I was a blast. I have been itching to rewatch the first movie, but since I only have it digitally, I haven’t watched it. Though the two movies are incredibly different, the second definitely scratched my itch, and I left the movie pretty darn happy with what it entails.
Have you been reading Captain Marvel by Kelly Sue DeConnick? If you have, high five, Carol Corps. If not, this is your first warning. Go read them. Especially since Marvel announced that Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers, no less) will have her own movie coming out in a couple years, you should go read it now, so you’re prepped for how rad it should be.

All the new hubbub of the summer I think is starting to slow down. However, our trip to Boston Comic Con gave us plenty to talk about, as well as the world of Marvel movies, comic variant covers, and saying farewell to a series coming to a close.
