Cool fact about this comic: it’s easily the best thing ever.
Fangirls, I was raised a Jim Henson fan. I grew up with Muppet Christmas Carol as my holiday movie (I still try to watch it annually), and Muppet Treasure Island as my slumber party movie. When I was in high school, my mum introduced me to the Fraggles, a group of small creatures that live closer to you than you’d expect. So when I saw that there was a comic (and more than just one) from Archaia, I knew I needed it.
Fangirls, I love tattoos, and I love Kate Leth. I think her work is phenomenal, and her ability to do what she wants is really inspiring. So when I was in Earthward, I grabbed myself her mini from Retrofit/Big Planet called Ink for Beginners: A Comic Guide to Getting Tattooed.
Fangirls, Boom! Studios is absolutely killing it recently. They extended Lumberjanes and now Giant Days, and released this beauty from Kate Leth and Matt Cummings last week, and it’s amazing. Everything is so great, and I am falling in love with everything they do.
Fangirls, I know I’m waaaaaay behind on Lumberjanes, but I love getting to re-experience them as I reread them for you. Lumberjanes was supposed to only be a 6 issue run, but has become so much more than that, and I’m really glad I’ve been able to experience it.

But I ended up staying at work late and going to a baby shower for several hours after that. At the baby shower, my mother mentioned that something came in the mail for me. I assumed it was my Ladybox from Madame Ladybug, but she said it was book shaped. Fast forward, and we got home. My mum handed me the mystery package and I opened it, and instantly started screaming. The advance copy of The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy was in my hands, and to be honest, I was losing my
Fangirls, for quite awhile now I’ve been lusting over the 2013 edition of Smut Peddler, a beautiful erotic comic anthology. A couple weeks back, Jess Fink came to my favorite comic shop, Earthworld Comics, and had some copies of the 2014 edition. So I bought it, and promptly devoured it.
