Fangirls, I’ve been freaking out over Black Widow since I first started picking up her comics. Mostly I’ve been freaking over how great it’s been, but now I’m losing it over Natasha’s safety. This issue did not end the way I was expecting it to, and now I’m genuinely worried about this awesome fictional lady that I’ve gotten attached to.
Same Squirrel-time, same squirrel-channel, we’re back with the newest installment of Squirrel Girl! This issue is hilarious, and I loved it.
Fangirls, I know I’m waaaaaay behind on Lumberjanes, but I love getting to re-experience them as I reread them for you. The series is celebrating passing a year full of comics and now has a trade out, which is fantastic. Lumberjanes was supposed to only be a 6 issue run, but has become so much more than that, and I’m really glad I’ve been able to experience it.
Fangirls, I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Black Canary comic since it was announced a couple months ago. I remember screaming and running around my house as I fervently texted anyone who could care about how pumped I was for this, and the first issue got me even more excited.
Oh Natasha. You sweet and terrifying creature, what will you not get yourself into? For those who haven’t been keeping up (c’mon Fangirls, you’ve gotta be reading this book!) Natasha Romanov, aka Black Widow, is on the trail of a group of jerks known as Chaos. They attacked her home and now she’s tracking them down.
Things to do: not read Coffin Hill while on a big trip in a new area.
Fangirls, I am pleased as punch to be in California right now, but holy crud is Coffin Hill a frightening book. Obviously a lot has been going on; Emma is possessing people and exacting her revenge, but it just doesn’t seem to stop! Luckily, Eve Coffin is on her case, and is working out a way to take her down.
Hi, are you reading Squirrel Girl? No? Well ya should be. It’s stinking phenomenal. Recently, Squirrel Girl found out (by way of squirrel) that Galactus was on his way to devour earth. Nobody except her and all of the squirrels on earth knew, so she had to take care of it herself. Get it, SG.
