Fangirls I’ve been suffering from a very severe depressive episode as of late. For me (and many others) that means an extreme loss of interest, increased negative thoughts, and just an influx of sad. It’s difficult for me and my significant other to deal with; there’s a lot happening in my brain, and most of it is bad. In minor attempts to combat the feelings and thoughts, I’ve been doing research at work; we have access to workshops, and some of them are specifically for mental disorders.
The first week of November is ending, and I’m excited because I think I’ve started No-Spend November off rather well, I’m getting back on track with exercise, and I’m keeping my birthday anxiety as low as possible.
Fangirls! For a long time, I’ve wanted to chat on this topic. It’s one that needs a whole lot more attention in our world. The sexuality of people living with disabilities is damn near ignored in our society, and that’s just not cool. Sexuality when disability is in the mix is surely different, but it’s really just another way that sexuality is specific to each person, just as injury & illness are going to be specific to each person. Sex is a highly beneficial thing that people with disabilities don’t need to view as another obstacle in their lives.
It’s back, Fangirls. It’s back. A few months back, Sex Criminals for one issue, sort of ending the first chapter of the series. Issue six starts to begin a new part of our story, with a new sort of focus. Past issues have always focused more on Suzie and things from her perspective, but this issue switches things around to John’s side of things. The cover had worried me, and just as I had guessed, John’s got some stuff going on.
Spoilers! Spoilers! I’m spilling the beans, Fangirls, beware!
Fangirls! I was delighted to see that a movie I’ve been meaning to watch for a long time was added to Netflix a few weeks ago. A friend of mine from elementary school was very insistent that we watch Girl, Interrupted when we were pretty young, but we some how never got around to it. For years many people have told me all about how much I need to see this movie. Well, everyone, I finally watched it.
Happy Friday, Fangirls! You get a double dose of sexiness today. Our chats here consist of a lot of things, but mainly, we do a lot of education. I always tell you guys to be safe & sexually healthy, and sometimes how to be be sexually healthy, but I’ve never really explained what is sexually healthy. So today, I’ve broken down the factors that contribute to having a healthy sexuality!
