Alright, I know the title is possibly a bit demeaning, but I’ve seen a lot of “back to school” content from people who seem to have forgotten the intensity of some dress codes! I can’t speak for every school, but mine was incredibly stubborn about the finger rules; women’ bottoms much go past their fingertips when their arms are down, and their straps must be at least 3 finger widths. I distinctly remember being a senior, and a junior guy wore booty shorts to show just how messed up the codes were for only applying to women. Even though his shorts did not reach his fingertips, he was allowed to parade around in booty shorts all day; it was wild. But here, we’re going to look at some outfits that I am a big fan of, that should be appropriate in most schools!
Okay, we know I’m a Lush fan, but sometimes (when in Disney), I go to Basin White. I’ve talked about their bath bombs before, and how I love that little bit of magic that is added to my days, so when I realized that I had a bar of watermelon soap (with Mickey heads instead of seeds!), I knew I needed more magic in my life.
Alright Fangirls, last week I ate a lot. Probably too much (which is why my body is mad at me now) but it was totally worth it. I’m trying to get back into my less terrible eating habits now that we’re back in Maryland, but I keep thinking about that tasty California food.
“M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E,” the king of all things cute and perfect. Disney, as you know, is my home away from home. I lived and worked there, and I spend 90% of my time thinking of ways to go back. The last time I was in Walt Disney World, I went resort hopping for the first time in my life. We took the monorail to the different main resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon, and checked out how pretty and expensive they were. At the Grand Floridian, there is a small bath shop called Basin White. It’s a lovely, fresh smelling shop with many different bath bombs, salts, and bubble baths to offer. But I don’t think my eyes have ever gotten as big as they did when I saw a Mickey Mouse bath bomb.
I’m showing my age a bit in saying this but, my first video game was Barney’s Hide and Seek followed shortly afterwards by the original Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis. I tell you this because I got this thing for Christmas that has 80 classic Sega Genesis games loaded onto it as well as a port on top to put cartridges in. Read More »
If I just write “yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas” over and over again, you still won’t understand the severity of my love for this app.
Fangirls, I’ve been thinking a lot about my time in the Disney College Program recently. I’ve been thinking about both times, and the different experiences I had at both. Part of the reason I’ve been thinking about Disney so much is my Ohana is planning a reunion trip down to Florida to Walt Disney World because it’s been about 2 years since we’ve been together as a group. Thinking about Disney usually makes me pretty sad, but recently I realized that I’m so grateful that things didn’t go as planned on my second program.
