Hey Disnerds! It’s been awhile since I’ve had much to say to you, but Disney has been doing some things recently, that are … interesting choices.
Star Wars Weekends
Star Wars Weekends are a part of a month long celebration in Walt Disney World. Sadly, I only got to experience one day of them this year, but I got to celebrate all month long last year. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for four weeks, special characters and celebrities come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is Roxy. She’s a life-size Rancor that travels to different conventions all over the states. It was really cool to see her at Star Wars Weekends this year. She crouches at a full 17 feet tall! It was really cool to take a picture with her.
Greetings, Fangirls! Its been a while since we’ve done an artist spotlight, so who better to write about for a nice welcome back than the wonderful, Amy Mebberson.
Something I didn’t deal with on my other program was homesickness. My town is so closed in, and living at home was so frustrating, that getting out was freeing. I was ready to go.
Now for awhile, Disney has been showing different versions of the princesses in art work and toys, but things are getting serious in parks. In toys and advertisements, the princesses are in far more blinged out dresses. Hair is slightly different, and Ariel’s face is starting to look a little weird.
I know I did one shelf last week, but this week is a special occasion, so we’re doing two.
These are our two parts of my Fortress that we’ll be discussing this week!
