Fangirls, I’ve been wanting Egghead since I first heard that Burnham was releasing a book. But it fell to the wayside as I didn’t see it in Target, and that’s the most accessible place to buy books around here. But the other day I finally went to a Barnes & Noble again, and grabbed Egghead (along with Watsky’s How To Ruin Everything), and I could not wait to read it. She’s back, Fangirls. Before I even had time to get over the release of her outstanding debut album, FKA twigs returned almost exactly a year later with an EP that is just pure *fire emoji* *fire emoji* *fire emoji*. She pulls at my heart again with her eclectic mix of lush electronics, wild percussion, and that damn voice of hers. Read More »

Boy, have I found something good, Fangirls. I have a real passion for good soul music, but it seems to have had it’s era, which has come and gone. However, that’s no longer the case. Leon Bridges has arrived to grace our ears with a vintage sound so classic & true it’s hard to believe this album was just released this week. Read More »
