Fangirls, I love subscription boxes. So much so, that I went way overboard for subscription boxes in January. But something similar is grab bags, and I ended up buying two different ones in February. I wasn’t expceting much from either, but both surprised me in a great way. But this, the Espionage Cosmetics one, really blew my mind.
Fangirls, I love comics. I love reading about them, wearing them, supporting them, seeing them in movie form; any way I can take them in, I like to. Since I have a full time job with a strict dress code and don’t do much on my time off, ripping nerd clothes doesn’t happen as much as I’d like. But recently I found out about Espionage Cosmetics, a cosmetic company focused on all things nerdy. One of their specialties is nail wraps, so I became incredibly excited when I found their Laura + Luci and Baal + Inanna nail wrap sets. I started off by ordering just the Laura + Luci set, because they’re my girls, and it had been awhile since I read the comics, so they stood out to me more (plus the pink/purple/blue suits my wardrobe more).
Alright Fangirls, this sucks. I hate when things don’t work, for pretty obvious reasons. That happened with these Nail Polish Strips. I went a bit bonkers after I had such great luck with the Personails strips, that I found some strips my mother had given me a couple years back, and ordered a couple different types from across the internet. I want to tell you guys what works and what doesn’t. Sadly, the Sally Hansen ones are a flop.
Alright, Fangirls. Yesterday I raved about how pumped I am to be trying out Personail 100% Nail Wraps this past week, and I wasn’t kidding. These adorable little nail wraps have taken over my life, and I can’t get enough of them. I ordered 3 sets from Personail a couple weeks ago, and got mine in last week. I considered waiting awhile to put them on, but once I checked them out, I couldn’t leave them in their packages.
I know that Easter isn’t a huge gift givin holiday, but that doesn’t stop me from going all heart eyes for cute, springy things this time of year. Though I don’t expect any of this stuff in my basket (yes I still get a basket and it says “Princess” on it, so), there are some really cute things that I would love to become a part of my collections.
