I bought this book for a couple, specific reasons. First of all, I love the story of Peter Pan. The idea of an island where you can be carefree and young always is incredible. Second, I love reimaginings. I loved Gregory Maguire’s books, I’ve enjoyed Disney’s villain books, they’re all interesting. So I grabbed Lost Boy, the story of Captain Hook.
Tis the season to be cozy, fa la la laaaa, la la la la. Fangirls, we know that I love Lush, and that I love cute and cozy bath products, especially this time of year! I want to come home from a long day at work, fill my tub with hot water, pop in something cute, and get cozy as heck. After loving almost everything from my Halloween Lush Haul, I decided that going all out for Christmas was a good idea too!
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I love spin offs of classic children’s stories. I loved Lost Girls, The Fables stories, the Marvel adaptations of Oz stories, so there’s no reasons for Syfy movies to be any different. Recently I watched Neverland, a movie that premiered in 2011. And, as the name suggests, it was a new take on Peter Pan.
