I love Lush so dang much. I know that you all are aware of that, but this whole month is just going to be Lush reviews, so strap in.
My favorite book ever, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, has just aired as a brand new television series on Starz. It’s made by Bryan Fuller (best known for the show Hannibal) and Michael Green, and Gaiman himself is an executive producer. It stars Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, and a whole lot of other amazing actors. And it is a thing to be worshiped.
To be frank, Fangirls, before reading this comic I knew almost nothing about Josie and the Pussycats. I remember listening to a version of Sugar, Sugar on my Saturday Morning Cartoons CD when I was little, and I vaguely remember there being a movie several years back, but that’s it. But, being a lover of powerful ladies, when I saw the updated look of the Pussycats at the comic shop the other day, I couldn’t not pick it up.
Money saving powers, activate! The other day I read about something that many folks participate in, called No-Spend November. Much like No-Shave and No-Pants November, this is a way to spend the entire month of November not doing something. This time around, it’s spending money.
Fangirls….fangirls….the new trailer for Captain America Civil War is out. It’s just under two months until this movie is released and a new trailer just came out for it. I’ve already watched it multiple times, so let’s discuss it, shall we?
Cool fact about this comic: it’s easily the best thing ever.
Fangirls, I love musicals more than anything. They’re my favorite type of entertainment; on the stage, through my earbuds, on my television, I want to experience them constantly. Since Christmas last year, I had been wanting to see the new version of Annie, starring Quvenzhané Wallis. When I rented it from iTunes to watch with my mum the other day, I was anything but disappointed.
