Fangirls, I’m all about those discount health treats. I saw Zuma Juice advertised on Facebook. I ordered my super discounted packets (which came with a blender bottle and a sticker), and got to drinking.
Fangirls, by now we all know that I have some strong feelings for soap. I love the lather, the scents, and even the goofy names. Awhile back I ordered Fortune Cookie Soap’s sample pack (for less than $10!) and got a pretty wide array of soaps. One of them is the “Bend Over & I’ll Show You.”
Around this time of the summer, Fangirls, I start to get real antsy for the Fall. Autumn is my favorite season, especially in the area I live in. When I think of fall, I think of nice treats with warm beverage. When dreaming up some more Fall inspired treats, my pal Winnie the Pooh came to mind. Sweet honey type treats, accompanied by all sorts honey inspired things. Pooh taught me a lot of things, but maybe most importantly he taught me that honey makes everything better.
Sigh. I had such high hopes for this movie, Fangirls, and I really should have known better. When I go into movies that are remakes or sequels, I always try to tell myself that this isn’t that movie. I told myself that Maleficent was not going to be Sleeping Beauty. But, I wasn’t expecting that they would change around the entire story as we know it. When it comes to a story I really love, I have no option but to be critical. Frankly, this movie was a huge disappointment.
Major spoilers ahead!
Greetings, Fangirls! This past week, Emily & I decided to use some of the bounty of movie passes that we got from the holidays to go see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I really thought I was going to hate this movie. I had read the short story a long time ago, and really enjoyed it. I could tell that the new movie was very far away from the happenings of the original story. But, it was a very pleasant far, to my surprise.
