Nerds Gotta Eat: Homemade Pizzas

I have really gotten into making my own pizzas. I still enjoy ordering pizzas, believe me. But there’s something satisfying about making your own pizza and enjoying it. A while back I bought a cookbook called Revolutionary Pizza by Dimitri Syrkin-Nikolau. He founded a pizza place in Chicago, and he makes unconventional pizzas. And so far, they’re pretty darn good.

Nerds Gotta Eat: Tasty Tortizza

The short of the long is, Fangirls, that I’m always hungry. This is why I struggle with my weight so much, and why I have such severe body issues; all I want to do is eat garbage. Especially at that oh-so-awful time of the month when everything bloats and I become a walking cramp. It’s not fun to be a woman, but its a thing that has to be dealt with. In loving food so much, I have to force myself to eat not-so-garbage things when I get that obscene hunger that makes me want to explode. I geek out over what any one has to say, even if I might not necessarily agree or if it’s not entirely correct. Place: Flying Saucer Pizza Company

Fangirls! A few weeks back when Emily & I were in the Boston area for Boston Comic Con, we made the best decision ever. We decided to take the advice of my best friend who lives in the area to check out a pizza shop close by in Salem. Holy cow. Not only was the pizza at Flying Saucer incredible, the establishment itself was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. If you’re looking for a great meal with a nerdtastic atmosphere where you don’t have to pay out the nose, the Flying Saucer is your dream destination.
