Music: “I Know It’s a Good Thing” // Shamir

bleachedFangirls, I am into this. Discovering Bleached is perfect timing with spring finally arriving. While welcoming back things like skateboarding, bike rides, and rowdy drives, I now have the perfect band to accompany those activities. I’m not sorry for sharing another kick ass lady punk powerhouse band, Bleached is a perfect example of the booming bouncy noise pop scene.

I heard a snippet of one of Honeyblood’s songs in the background of a talk radio show, and spent the day trying to figure out what it was. Eventually, after calling the radio station and telling them the exact moment I heard this beautiful noise, they were able to point my towards Honeyblood. Best phone call I’ve ever made.

I have a buddy that comes into my workplace just about everyday. She has superb taste in tunes and is always feeding me fantastic bands that have yet to grace my ears. This past week, she told me about Kind Cousin.
