This series, Fangirls, is too great. Really. Every time I sit down to read it, I end up having to stop reading briefly because holy shoot it’s fantastic. Amazing. Just, wow. So I guess it’s time for a synopsis.
Hey Fangirls! Last time we left off with Harley, she had just finished her missions with SyBorg and found Ivy in her apartment. Ivy said she had pinpointed the person who put the hit on Harley, and this one picks up right there.
Last time with Batgirl, she had just wriggled her way out of the Joker’s clutches with her mum mostly intact, but with some worrisome news; he brother is back. These issues start with her anonymously tipping off her dad, Commissioner Gordon, to who the Joker’s goons were.
Hello again, you fantastic Fangirls! Yet again we’re reading about Black Widow, and it’s just so good. I was telling Natalie the other day, that I will not ever get over the beauty of Phil Noto’s art in this. But let’s dive in!
Hello again, my witch loving Fangirls! Coffin Hill is filled with some pretty weird shit, and it seems like it’s just going to get weirder. Last time, Eve Coffin and her police chief friend Nate found a ton of skulls in Coffin Forrest, and from the looks of it, the crazy isn’t going to end there.
Hey Fangirls! Last week, I got a pretty scarce pile of comics, but there was one thing I was really excited about; Shutter! It’s by Joe Keatinge, Leila Del Ducea, Owen Gieni, and Ed Brisson, and is produced by Image comics. Now, if you know me, I’ve been leaning more and more towards Image recently, and this issue really pushed me further into it.
