I am so so behind on my comic reading. I took a night a while back to start to catch up, and I discovered something: A-Force has ended. Yes, the last three issues we’ll be discussing here are the final three issues for my favorite team. And they take place during the current Civil War run.
Finally, Fangirls, FINALLY we get to return to one of my favorite series’ of the fall, A-Force. This was a series about some of Marvel’s greatest female heroes (and villains) becoming one team. The team included Carol Danvers, She-Hulk, Medusa, and so many others. I was so happy this series was coming back after the Secret Wars ended, and I cannot wait to see how the A-Force will come together again.
Fangirls, the final issue of A-Force came out, and it did not disappoint. There are a couple things about this ending that I love, so let’s get started.
Issue 5 picks up right where 4 left off, with the battle to save Arcadia from the zombies beginning. It’s first panel, however, is not the battle; it’s something beautiful. It show the four main faces of the A-Force as She-Hulk narrates what Arcadia and the A-Force mean to the Battleworld.
Oh, Fangirls. The time has come. This issue of She Hulk, marks it’s very last. At least for this run. Of course, this isn’t the end of She Hulk as we know it. That would be truly tragic. However, it is the end of She Hulk has we know her here. It’s been an excellent 12 issue run, that I’m content with. But before we get to the whole series ending thing, we’ve got some conflicts to resolve.
Someone so lean and green needs a lean and green breakfast, Fangirls. And since we all strive to be more like She Hulk, I thought it was necessary to share this recipe with you all. Plus, it’s one of my absolutely favorite things to eat, at any time of the day. It’s so damn good, and makes you feel good eating it. Breakfast can be overloaded with carbs & sugar, but when you’ve got cases to work through & days to save, there’s no time for all that hullabaloo.
