Alright Fangirls, ages ago I got myself the Flo-Control box from Madame Ladybug. I bought it as a tester, and wrote my thoughts about it here. I was thinking about how nice it was to have snacks delivered before my period, along with helpful feminine care items. So I thought that it would be rad to go hard and get myself Ladybug’s fanciest box; the ultimate indulgence!
Alright Fangirls, last week I ate a lot. Probably too much (which is why my body is mad at me now) but it was totally worth it. I’m trying to get back into my less terrible eating habits now that we’re back in Maryland, but I keep thinking about that tasty California food.
We did the thing, Fangirls! The boy and I had a wonderfully lazy weekend since it was a long one, then spent a good part of Monday (that lovely extra day off) figuring out which meals to make, grocery shopping, then actually making them!
Fangirls, though this didn’t look nearly as cute as it did in my cookbook, this kiwi sorbet was incredibly tasty and not too bad for you! I loved making this, and I got to eat it for weeks after making it, because it lasted for quite some time, and made so much sorbet. So let’s get to it.
Over the last few months, I’ve felt a lot more like Killer Croc than Wonder Woman, Fangirls. My weight has never bothered me much, my only concern has always just been eating healthy. Over the last year or so, though, I started to get in the habit of slipping up on my usual healthy ways. Fangirls, like many women out there, I have a monthly period. Once a month, my uterus sheds, and it can be frustrating. I don’t get grumpy, I just get hungry and horny and zitty. It’s not a fun time. Luckily, there’s a rad company called Madame Ladybug who has made it their mission to make women’s periods something they look forward to, instead of dreading.
I recently hopped on board with the current burst of boxes filled with awesome things being sent to your door. I think it’s pretty damn rad. I also think snacks are rad, and Nature Box has combined the two for our utmost enjoyment.
