Fangirls, I can’t seem to find anything on the most recent Squirrel Girl, so instead, I would really like to talk about the music that I’ve been listening to around the clock; the Broadway Soundtrack to Hamilton. I’ve been listening to these damn songs for the past 3 days with nothing else. I walk to work to it, I work to it, I write to it, I play my DS to it; it’s incredibly addicting, and I can’t get it out of my head.
Having been a diehard Spongebob fan my entire life, I had to go see the new movie Sponge Out of Water. The first movie was a tough act to follow, it was an intense tale that left me giggling for days. So with this movie, I wasn’t expecting much. I didn’t want to set the bar too high and be disappointed. But really, a classic cartoon like this never disappoints. I got a lovely, perfectly silly movie that was undeniably Spongebob Squarepants.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a whole lot about adventures. So in that spirit, I sat down to watch a favorite movie of mine. Into the Wild is a fantastic movie for anyone with a burning sense of wanderlust. It will also give those feelings a big reality check.

Whoah, Emily writing about music? “What has the world come to?” you may ask. Don’t worry your beautiful Fangirl head, it’s just for now. I wanted to write about the Heathers the Musical soundtrack because it combines two of my favorite things; The Heathers & musicals.
Fangirls. I fucking love the Heathers movie. If you haven’t seen it, it’s on Netflix, and I’ll give you time to watch it.
Fangirls, it finally happened. After waiting pretty much my entire life, I was finally able to get a hold on a copy of Sleeping Beauty. Emily, who had been highly anticipating my watching of the film, sat down & watched with me. And oh my goodness it was fantastic.
Fangirls, that thing happened again. The thing where years ago, I heard a really great band, and then they some how quickly escaped from my life. I must have been in middle school when I first heard DeVotchKa. I don’t know how they didn’t stick then, but what matters is that they are back in my life and I’m bursting with excitement from rediscovering them.
