I’m not going to lie to you, Fangirls; I bought this book because it says that it’s a Hulu series in the cover, and I want to watch this horror unfold after reading it. Also, the name is that of a game that I never played, but am highly aware of (as many children of the 90’s are).
Guys, we are behind. Like, over 10 movies behind. We didn’t get through a ton this past week because I was sick so I was usually asleep by the time Rob got home, plus we had a busy weekend where we drove up to New York to grab some more of my stuff (like my desk and desktop which I’m finally using again). I’m exhausted but less sick this week, so hopefully we can end (mildly) strong, and get closer to the goal.
Hello Fiends and Fanghouls! This spooky soap is regrettably not a part of LUSHoween, but with it’s spooky, swirling purple look, I feel like that’s where it belongs. Respect Your Elders is a phenomenal bar soap I got from LUSH the other day when I was buying a present for a friend. I did get her a present, but I also got me a present, and it’s finally time to use it.
Fangirls, I now live with a dude who is all about that Halloween life, and that means that Halloween starts at the end of this week. We’ll be doing Halloween all month long here, and I can not wait! One of the things this dude has done for quite some time, is watch a different Halloween / Spooky movie every day of October. It’s a great way to keep the fear alive and get ready for Halloween itself! So we’ve got some spooky updates that’ll be coming at’cha, and we’re very excited. We’re going to try to post little miniature reviews of what we watch, and once the list is finalized, we’ll both post it so you can follow along. We won’t be getting too spooky, because I am the world’s largest chicken, but there are some that I’m really excited for!
Fangirls, I just adore Gravity Falls. I think it’s one of the most rad shows out there, and I get so pumped that it’s a Disney show! A couple weeks ago I read Dipper & Mabel’s Guide to Mystery and Nonstop Fun, and one of the activities in it were two drinks, suggested by Mabel. Originally there was no alcohol in them, but I changed the recipes just a bit, so there could be some!
Fangirls, I’m so into the spooky feel of Halloween, but my love for the looks of the season trump the feeling. I love Wednesday Addams’ style, I love sparkly black stuff, flannel, sweaters, all that rad stuff. When my mother brought home spooky nails from Broadway Impress Nails for me, I lost it, I was so pumped.
I think it’s no surprise that when I think of the best ways to prepare for Halloween is by purchasing items from Lush. So, when I found their Halloween products, I lost my mind. I bought all of the pieces; some individually, and some in gift boxes. I did end up with a couple doubles, but I’m glad I did!
