I feel like this week is my goal for every week. I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all, I exercised every weekday (and I will be continuing that after work tonight), and I got a good amount done. I haven’t played Breath of the Wild since Sunday (when I beat my second Divine Beast), and that’s because I’ve been incredibly wrapped up in Anna Kendrick’s book; Scrappy Little Nobody. I’ll be posting my thoughts on that tomorrow.
I’m sure we’ve all noticed this. It isn’t new to me, but recently it just seems to be everywhere. Gender roles are so fucked, it’s even all mixed into what we eat and drink. Women eat this, men eat that, if you switch them up, it’s just weird. This is one of the most aggravating things to me. Sure, there’s more serious problems regarding gender that I could be concerned about, but this daily fight is something I just can’t ignore.

Paper Towns is one of my all time favorite books, and every nerd knows the panic of a great book being made into a movie. I’m easing my feelings into things with the new trailer, and you get to see my emotions live. Read More »
There’s nothing like the feeling of new Amanda Palmer music. What direction she’ll go is always a mystery. It could be more rocky & up tempo, it could be a stripped piano ballad, any flavor of the many things she’s created, or something totally new. Her new song “Bigger On the Inside” is a hefty, raw track, pouring out a a whole lot of things that Palmer needed to let go of. I’m very glad she did.
Like most of the internet, I am buzzing about the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live that aired this weekend. It was a spectacular event that left me floating up off my couch. As a child of SNL, watching so many names & faces on one stage, one night, was overwhelmingly funny, nostalgic, and heart warming.
