When you fly (or take almost any transportation) you are allowed one carry on luggage, and one personal item. Personal items are always smaller and are usually a backpack or a purse. I have a cross body bag as my personal item/camera bag, and I’m really digging it. Since I already went through what’s in my carry on, let’s talk about my personal item.
Alright Fangirls, it’s the last Friday before I leave. While there are some last minute things that aren’t packed yet, I have a pretty final idea of what is coming with my for my trip to NY and then overseas. I think I’ve packed pretty reasonably, and am honestly proud of how little I’m taking. When I was younger, I went to Europe for 3 weeks and had a full size suitcase, a carry on, and a personal bag all stuffed to the brim. Things are different this time.
This week I didn’t do any actual packing, but I did get some stuff together that I’ll need no matter what across the pond. As boring as it sounds, this week I concentrated on documents.
For this month I’m going to be sharing what I’ve done, packing – wise to prepare for my trip to Ireland and England. Since toiletries are the the easiest to pack early (even makeup!), I thought it best to start with them.
I heard about these travelers undies while listening to travel blogs at work one day. Since my mum and I are preparing for a week-long trip to the UK with just our carry-on luggage, I’m looking for as many ways as possible to make my pack lighter (more space=more room for souvenirs). One of the blogs I was listening to brought Ex Officio up; apparently their underwear is some of the best in travel for men and women, so I figured I would try it out!
I’ve used Lush’s Toothy Tabs before, and they’re definitely different, but in a great way. Thinking ahead to my upcoming trips this year, I grabbed a bottle of them recently at my local Lush, and tried out this new flavor.
Fangirls, a little over a month ago, one of my coworkers loaned me a couple of books for my vacation. One of them was The Good Girl’s Guide to Getting Lost. My coworker and I share the same wanderlust and love of travel, so she thought it would be perfect for me. She was incredibly right.
