Fangirls, this weekend I’m embarking on a trip down to Florida to meet up with my Ohana and do Disney together for the first time in 3 years. I’ve missed them all so much, and feel like there is so much to catch up on. People have gotten married, others engaged, more tattoos, lives have just changed. One thing that has (obviously) changed, is our age. All of us are now legal drinking age. In Walt Disney World, that gives us a couple new options; drinking at Gaston’s Tavern in the Magic Kingdom, and drinking around the world in EPCoT.
Fangirls, this week’s sex chat may be a little more thought & opinion focused than fact. Of course, there will be a lot of solid information, but it’s hard to discuss the facts on a topic that’s still got a lot to figure out. I feel pretty passionately about sex education in schools and it needing to be more thorough. However, just as the country & the system are, I’m still figuring out exactly how that should be done.
Over the last month or so, Fangirls, I’ve been coming to terms with the realization that the sequels to the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo will never be made. It was quickly announced after the American version of the first story was released that the second & third would be following. But, it’s been a few years since then, and it seems as though the project has been abandoned. So, to soothe my sad heart, I figured it only best that I spew about my love for this movie, Fangirls.
Issues that women face in the workforce are one of the most frustrating things to me. It boggles me that a problem that has been so known to the world for so long is still a problem. Its quite an easy fix, too. The real problem, and the hardest part of solving the bigger picture, is that women being equal to men or in place of power is so foreign to most people. Women included.
So, for those of you who don’t know, Being Human is a show in the US that plays of the SyFy channel. It is based off of the UK version, which as I understand got mixed reviews; I hear the US version is actually better, which is surprising, usually the opinion goes the other way. Read More »
So, this episode finally saw some of the group getting back together!! It also ended with some of the regathered group finally arriving at Terminus. We got a small look into what Rick, Michonne and Carl are up to, and got to see how Daryl is fitting into his new group.
