Friends, we’re back! I had the incredible pleasure of unboxing another OwlCrate this month. I didn’t know as many of the references as I had last month, but I’m still excited about the box. Please be warned, there is nothing but spoilers ahead. If you haven’t received your box yet, don’t hit that read more tab!
Sure, the Crystal Gems will always save the day, but they’d be super bored if it weren’t for the Homeworld Gems making things more difficult, right? I chose my three favorite Homeworld Gems; Jasper, Peridot, and Yellow Diamond and decided there would be nothing better than cupcakes devoted to them. I know Peridot is technically a Crystal Gem now, but whatever. She’s always going to be a troublemaker in my mind, so it’s all good.
Gather fellow fangirls and fanboys! We are about to start on a dark and beautiful adventure together. Where you ask are we venturing? I have seen dozens of movies that have scarred, Russian gangsters starring as the lead antagonist. I always expect it, it’s the most traveled route for a movie villain, yet it’s still almost always scary. However, not until very recently have I started questioning why all these go-to traits exist. The Flash is back!! Took him long enough *pause for uncomfortable chuckles* This episode saw the return of Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold and his (for now) only partner, Mick Rory, aka Heatwave! He has a gun that rivals Captain Cold’s in the fact that it puts out heat that is some scientific term for maximum heat that can be achieved.Read More »
Where would we be without villains?
